Goal

By 2030, we will reach out to one lakh stakeholders, including women, children and youths, through our intervention. Problem Statement: India’s rapid social and economic transformation has brought new opportunities, but deep-rooted challenges continue to affect children, youth, women, and rural communities. Gender inequality, gender-based violence (GBV), limited access to quality education and livelihood opportunities, lack of awareness about constitutional rights, poor sexual and reproductive health outcomes, and increasing climate vulnerability disproportionately impact marginalized populations. Youth and adolescents often lack platforms to develop life skills, access accurate information on health and rights, and make informed career choices. Women, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas, face barriers to economic participation and leadership, while communities remain dependent on unsustainable energy and agricultural practices. At the same time, climate change, environmental degradation, and health and nutrition challenges further exacerbate social inequities. Innovators for Change Foundation (IFCF) seeks to address these interconnected challenges through an integrated, community-led approach that combines education, constitutional awareness, gender equality, livelihood promotion, health, and sustainable development. By nurturing local role models and empowering youth and women as change agents, IFCF aims to build socially conscious, resilient, and inclusive communities.

Key Objectives

Social Welfare & Development: To improve the quality of life for underserved communities by promoting healthcare, education, and gender equality. We intend to educate adolescents on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) to combat critical health hazards resulting from premature conception and child marriage, while dismantling harmful communal myths and traditional practices. Also, to build a healthy and equitable social environment by implementing community sensitisation aimed at dismantling discriminatory practices and mitigating gender-based violence to ensure inclusive participation across all social strata. Empowerment: To empower youth through skill development, vocational training, and education. We have chosen to ensure educational persistence and completion at the secondary and higher secondary levels, with a dedicated focus on the girl child and systematically reducing dropout rates by providing them with insights into the professional and financial rewards of higher education, aiming that every student recognizes the long-term value of completing their academic journey. Additionally, imparting 21st-century competencies like emotional intelligence, advanced digital literacy and critical thinking skills, to adapt better to rapidly evolving industrial needs. Advocacy & Human Rights: To act as an advocacy group for human rights, promote social justice, and influence public policy on issues such as gender equality, anti-corruption, and legal aid. To achieve this, we aim to impart critical knowledge of constitutional protections to women and children and create a socially conscious community. Environmental Protection: To promote sustainable practices, conservation of biodiversity, and combat climate change. We aim to nurture environmentally friendly practices through public education on climate drivers, accelerate the adoption of renewable energy solutions such as solar power, and promote effective waste management. Bridging Gaps: To reach all sections of society and vulnerable populations and areas that are deprived or hard to reach and often lack to avail government schemes and policies.
